Atlantic Coast Teaching of Psychology Conference (ACToP)

Atlantic Coast Teaching of Psychology Conference (ACToP)

September 18-19th, 2015

A few Spots Still Available for Late/Onsite Registration

This will be the third hosting of the biennial Atlantic Coast Teaching of Psychology (ACToP) Conference. With the scenic Navesink River as our backdrop, psychology instructors from both post-secondary and high school communities will gather in Red Bank New Jersey to discuss the teaching and learning of psychology. The overall goal of ACToP is to unite psychology teaching professionals in an atmosphere that creates and strengthens connections. Throughout the conference psychology instructors will share scholarship findings on the topic of teaching and learning, unique approaches to and theoretical perspectives on teaching, and instructional and assessment aides that have been proven useful in psychology classrooms. Hopefully, the support networks created during the conference weekend will continue as attendees return to their classrooms. This year our conference will put a particular emphasis on both careers in psychology as well as instructional assessment.
